Modular ribbed system of cellular polycarbonate with U.V. protection for translucent enclosures and roofs.
Our panels must be installed from ridge to gutter with a minimum slope of 7% and not exceeding the purlin distance of 2.0 ml. In the event that the sandwich panel is thicker than the panel to be installed, this difference must be compensated for by incorporating supplementary metal omega purlins in the purlin (example: if the sandwich panel is 40 mm thick and the panel thickness is 30 mm, it must be supplemented with a 10 mm metal omega).
For good maintenance, we recommend cleaning the panel regularly, applying warm water to the surface to remove dust and dirt residues. Subsequently, the surface should be lathered with mild soap and warm water. It is recommended to use neutral soap that does not contain abrasives or solvents. Use a sponge or cloth and exert gentle pressure, as using other elements and squeezing can damage the surface of the film. Finally, rinse and dry with a soft cloth, avoiding leaving water stains on the surface of the film.
The thermal expansion coefficient of polycarbonate is considerably higher than that of structures and other plastic products, so it is essential to provide systems that allow the sheets to expand freely. To fix the panel, it is necessary to make oval holes in the upper part of the flanges and the ribs with a diameter in accordance with Table A, placing a support under the rib to avoid vibrations during the drilling of the hole.
